The General Authority for Endowments has won first place in the 2023 Job Engagement Award for Government Sector Employees, at the level of institutions, councils, and public authorities in the Kingdom, with an engagement rate of 89.20%. This was announced as part of the results of the 2023 periodic job engagement measurement. The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, presented the Job Engagement Award for Government Sector Employees to the Governor of the General Authority for Endowments, Mr. Emad Al-Khuraishi, at the award ceremony. This event will have a significant impact on raising the level of positive competition and development for human resources, leading to the development of the endowment work environment. The award aims to create positive competition among entities, make employees aware of the importance of achieving organizational goals, find unconventional and innovative solutions, develop employees, improve their productivity, and contribute to developing and enhancing the work environment. The award considers the following indicators in its evaluation: purpose (practical and having a positive impact on the sector), leadership (aligned with the Authority's strategy and achieving its objectives), encouragement of innovation, effective and fruitful cooperation between work teams, continuous professional development that contributes to the development of the endowment sector, high performance directed towards high-impact programs, and a stable work environment that prioritizes quality and excellence. The job engagement rate in the Authority for 2023 increased from 86% in 2022 to 20.89%, moving it from second place to first place. This achievement was facilitated by several initiatives, including: strengthening the institutional culture, developing the work environment through events and activities to enhance integration among employees, spreading the culture of cooperation and transparency, appreciation and recognition programs, encouraging creative ideas, and empowerment. These initiatives confirm the Authority's strategic goals in attracting outstanding talent. They have contributed to strengthening engagement and creating a sense of challenge and competition among the Authority's staff to win the award this year. It is worth noting that the General Authority for Endowments works to enhance the endowment sector, its governance, and preservation, develop it, and raise awareness of it by launching innovative endowment products and services for beneficiaries. This is to make it a leader in sustainable development locally and globally, in a way that fulfills the conditions of the waqifs (endowers), applies best practices, and establishes systems and regulations that will enhance, develop, and empower endowment work, maximizing its impact on economic and social development and social solidarity.
