Today, the General Authority for Endowments signed a mutual cooperation agreement with the Public Security to support the electronic guidance system project. This initiative aims to enhance the experience of pilgrims and visitors and effectively manage crowd movements inside and outside the Holy Mosque in Mecca to facilitate easy and secure access to the holy site for performing religious rites.
Representing the Public Security was His Excellency General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, the Director of Public Security, while the General Authority for Endowments was represented by His Excellency Mr. Imad bin Saleh Al-Kharashi, the Governor of the Authority. The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency the CEO of the Guests of the Merciful Program.
The agreement's purpose is to improve the quality of services provided to the guests of the Merciful by installing, supporting, and supplying devices and screens that assist in electronic guidance and direction for crowds inside and outside the Grand Mosque and linking them to the crowd management operations control room system. This contributes to facilitating the access of the guests of the Merciful to the sacred precinct without exposing them to the dangers of overcrowding.
It is worth noting that the General Authority for Endowments is working to enhance the role of endowments in serving the guests of the Merciful and highlighting efforts to improve the quality of services provided to them, with the aim of providing an exceptional experience for pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque.
